"as tte"????

Assuming it's not related to Trans Thoracic Echocardiogram :p it may be abbreviation for Trustee:

http://acronyms.thefreedictionary.com/TTE

ATF (as trustee for) or ITF (in trust for) are the more common ways I've seen it written. All our bank accounts for our trusts with corporate trustees and our SMSF are written Co XYZ ATF XYZ Trust

Testamentary Trustee Executor?

What does that mean?
When I did a search on a property and the owners came up as Joe Blow as TTE.

Does this person actually own the property or is he/she just holding title for someone else,
Ex: a son,daughter,spouse,client?

Could well be as Aaron notes - Testimentary Trustee (ie the owner has passed away leaving a testimentary trust in place - had done a proper will drafted by someone more in the know than the local solicitor). So the property could well be a deceased estate or part of the deceased's estate.

TTE is a strange one. I have never seen it used for 'trustee' and Usually there is no indication a person owns a property as trustee. It is rarely recorded on contracts either.

I have seen it on Queensland Land Court but I'm not sure if it's referring to a standard Trustee or perhaps as suggested.
It evidently is a term used by them so I would call and ask.
