some good info there......
didn't realize qld REAs could take 50% of the cooling off fee...and the fee can only be taken from the deposit. no wonder REAs push for a higher deposit...

After reading somewhere else on this forum, I went into my last contract with $0 deposit. The REA went nuts and told me I couldn't do it. Just stuck to my guns, claiming it was legal. They didn't push it further. Now I understand why they were so upset!
