I have 2 ips with prd nationwide (lyn merrell's the head of pm) I have been reasonably happy - not thrilled but happy. Did have some tenant problems, so I guess she wasn't perfect at weeding out up front, but she has dealt successfully with those probs and handled the notice to leave stuff properly. Also she organised landlords insurance (ebm i think) for me and they paid up no worries 
Since then fine.
I did fairly thorough research 18mnths ago and the only other mob I would consider at the time was rental hotline. Bigger firm, more production line style but seemed very proffessional. I went with lyn coz she was happy to list higher (it was a tight rental market at the time) and I got the result I wanted. My family also have places with PRD.
If you go with her let her know that 'm knight' referred you - she might treat us both better
