Both names on property or one

Hi, i recently got married and we decided to use our savings and buy a property to rent out.
Which name should be on property? both names or maybe just one. He is working full time and im still a student ( and dont work).
we will have to pay income tax from it, would it be better if my name would be on property then( because i dont have income)?
And what would happen if our both names appear on property?

Your location says you are in England. Is this property in Australia and are you an Australian resident for tax purposes?
