What do you reckon - the REIQ just trying to ensure the customers are accepting offers (so the commission flows continue....)?

Interesting...I too have been thinking the same for sometime....that is why I bypassed Brissie for Adelaide and Melbourne.

Whilst the higher property is not as pricey as Sydney and Melbourne. The lower to middle end properties are definintely more expensive than Melbourne.

I am keen to invest in Brissie....so will be watching for any weaknessses to get in. :D

I beleive the same thing, but don't tell any of the potential buyers looking at our places for sale.

I will be seriously considering whether to buy again in Brisbane once they sell.

I never listen much to clearance rates for auctions up here. It's a form of sale that has only becoming more common for high-end properties and is not common or representative for the general market.
