Buying unit and developer negotiating

Hi again everyone,

does anyone know if developers benefit by paying stamp duty on a new property for buyer? can they claim any tax benefit from that or will they have to pay for the whole amount of stamp duty?

No extra benefits available to the developer - the sale price is the sale price and the OSR doesn't particularly care who pays the duty but it is based on the price shown in the contract not on the development cost.
