What's the process and cost for CBA customer ordered vals? Has there been any recent changes - I recall people talking at free or $49 vals?

They've implemented a new system (via broker channel anyway) whereby full valuations are free. However, if an application isn't submitted within 45 days - there's a charge of $49 fee.

Thanks for the responses guys. I had some further questions if I may ../

How is it decided if they are going to do a desktop val or a full val? (for example, I believe I read somewhere they always do a full val for properties above $1mil?)
Is there anyway to influence this decision (for example, check the desktop val and then decide if you are happy with it)?
Does the desktop val match the value currently provided in MyWealth?

A few criteria ie..If it's a top up/equity and its under 80% lVR then you can CHOOSE btw desktop or ful...

It depends on your LVR, loan amount, security type, loan type and transaction ( top up/purchase etc.)

Haven't used myweath...so can't comment.
