Conflicting Data

I am trying to find unemployment rates and owner occupancy data for suburbs, but I am getting conflicting data.

Here is what I have found on Zillmere for example:

Owner Occupancy
propertyobverver.com.au 75.1% (ABS CENSUS 2011)
residex.com.au 53% (RPDATA)
rpdata.com.au 53% (ABS DATA)


Unemployment Rate
propertyobverver.com.au 2.2% (ABS CENSUS 2011)
profile.id.com.au 4.8% (ABS CENSUS 2011)
abs.gov.au 5.2% (2010 From ABS CENSUS 2011)

Just go with abs.com.au and rpdata.com.au? Any thoughts.

Don't look at the specifics but rather the trend. They all use different methodologies, different data sets, different interpretations etc etc.

Be wary of this kind of data. It is usually well out of date by the time it's published.
