Counties in QLD - have they changed???

Hi,

We are about to sign a contract on the house we are selling in Kingston. I have noticed the county is different to when we bought it? Anyone know if this would happen, or the county would have changed??

The county in question was Stanley orginally, now on the contract it's Yeerongpilly which does not sound right to me.

Can anyone enlighten me??

Edit to add - I have found a map of QLD on wiki - really reliable I know - but there is no county named yeerongpilly.....

are you talking local council by any chance? My guess would be Logan, but don't take that as a fact!

Someone with access to PR Data should be able to help us out here...

the county will be stanley, the parish will be yeerongpilly...someone has made a booboo.

all of brisbane is within the county of stanley, it is then broken down into parishes etc.

pm me the address and i will send you the RPdata page to confirm if you like.
