Dean Park NSW

Was looking at a few properties around st marys/mt druitt when a REA offered to show a property at Dean Park.

Had a look at the house and seems to be nice.
Very happy with the land setup

Cost is about 20% more than the areas im looking but neighborhood and quality of other houses are a lot better.

Just not too familiar with the local in terms of public transport and local shopping

And opinions for future of the area - its got internal access to stonecutter golf course and not far from colobolee

Would be buying the property as an investment

REA was saying that rental return would be around 4-4.5%

Hi,
I used to live in that area many years ago,it still is a very family orientated area with a mix of people it has a small local shops and doctors and a bus route running to Blacktown,Rooty Hill and Mountt Druitt as well. Long term it will do well but do your own searches and work out for yourself if it suits your own investing strategy,hope this helps a bit.

well the plan is to buy - rent out and redevelop in the near future (depending on how my other property goes)
