Hello to all,
I purchased two investment properties in South Australia in 1999. The second was a DHA property. I actually purchased it through a real estate agent rather than the DHA. The current owner had moved to Canada and was in a hurry to sell the property. Because of this the price was negotiable.
It is leased through the DHA for another 4 years. My rent is paid monthly in advance. The DHA maintain the property for a higher agents fee 15% which covers most wear and tear.
I have found the DHA execellent to deal with. Although I agree most of the properties for sale through them are overpriced.
