Does anyone know where I can get a quick desktop valuation of a property
I want to know roughly how much the place worth and then cross check with
my research.

I dont want to low ball the offer, I want to pay a fair price for it and not over paid.

If you want an actual, legal valuation: phone up one of the valuation companies and pay your money.

If all you want is a dollar figure, then go to RP data web site. Or use real-estate.com to look up comparable properties yourself.

Learn how to look it up yourself anyway.

Email below for a Residex report. The information in the standard CMA Residex report tends to be a bit more detailed than the RP Data version.
