Developer buys 5 houses.

Great story in Brisbane Courier mail today.
Developer bought 5 houses on Finucane Rd Capalaba. Owners had banded together to put all 5 houses in a row up for sale.
One house owner who paid $143k six years ago received $730k. I am pretty sure I know the people who sold that one six years ago ouch!
Makes you think about possibilities though. Maybe a main rd has its advantages.

Know the area well. Apparently the developer is going to build 60 (I think) units/townhouses on the combined parcel. It will be interesting to see what eventuates - there is an over-supply of units in the area, and Finucane Road is a VERY busy (and noisy) road. I have noticed a number of development sites in the eastern Redlands suburbs have had the DA signs up, fences placed around them, etc ..... and then nothing has happened for months and months. We shall see ...
