Doonside - something wrong

Still rising??
Someone (thanks Ken) sent me comparable sales for this area and from this I think my Doonside property may be now worth close to $600K.

I should of, would of purchased more, but I started playing in the Perth market which was rising at the same time, however Perth now going sideways, Syd still got steam I think??

At this rate, what will be affordable in Syd?? This markets been moving for 2+ years now, I think on average property booms go for 18 months-2 years. Interest rates a driver??
 
Just got a price from re agent, he said $620k is achievable for my property in today's market and still rising

He believes Sydney market will crash as soon as there is mention of interest rate rise.

If my property goes close to $700k I may be tempted to sell, I doubt this will happen, this is nuts

I have one at Hill End Road. Time for getting it revalued and get some equity off it . me thinks!

magic number is $650K

if you get that.. may be get rid of it and buy something else.

650k can buy new villa/duplex or apartment in parramatta.
 
Thinking about it, I will phone him in 6 months time and see what he has to say, if it hits $650K its more than doubled in 4 years. If I sell I wont go back in Syd not now.

I think when Syd crashed the West will go down hard????

I am betting Sydney West won't gone down hard like post 2004. There are alot of Indian people peopled migrated and moved in since. They're not rich but have reasonable high disposable income and good at saving. Investor bought already have granny flat ready for increase in IR

Agree on the Indian people... My Indian colleague had been desperately looking around Pendle Hill and Girraween areas. Professional jobs. They won't buy Mt Druitt area though.
