Dubbo - Investment Property ?

Hi All,

With the Sydney market so hot and difficult to get into, I am looking at possible house & land package in Dubbo or a newish 4 bedroom house. I know the vacancy rate is one of the lowest in the country and there is some on going mining and development happening there. On the downside - plenty of land around, so may impact on capital growth long term.

I have seen that Hotspotting has identified Dubbo at various times as a growth area. The other alternative is to continue to look at western Sydney, Jordan Springs, Caddens, Thornton estates near Penrith.

Any thoughts guys ? Love to know of some success stories of late. Areas to avoid etc

If there is lots of vacant land whats reasoning on buying a H&L package, will there be demand for yours when you can just get a brand new H&L package?
