FHOG questions - so confused?

Hey Guys,

Quick question...

I live in NSW and am looking at possibly purchasing a new unit for about $550,000.

From the website http://www.osr.nsw.gov.au/grants It mentions i can recieve 2 Grants:

1) FHOG of $15,000
2) First Home- New Home (No stamp dutyon propertys up to $550,000)

Can i do both? eg. Get the $15k grant on a $550k property and then still pay no Stamp Duty?

Or do i have to choose one or the other...

Help me out here because this is confusing me

2. is a stamp duty concession

They are not mutually exclusive.

Yes, you can get both - as Arron_C says above.
