Apparently they're copying New York's iconic flatiron building in Fortitude Valley.

800 units... Does FV need this? Is this oversupply in the making or is there merit to it?

Our office is just around the corner.

The site is currently largely unused, and it certainly seems like an interesting project.

When I look out my office window, I can see five cranes in the Valley working on different high rise residential projects. I fear there could be an oversupply, but these are all under construction and so must have the level of presales required to make them viable. Overseas buyers are apparently making up a fair portion of these.

Similary, this project won't start construction until sufficient presales are achieved.

If it goes ahead, it really will start to significantly change the face of the Valley.
