gas log fire installation - slim wall install

hello, just wondering if anyone has installed or knows of a gas log fire where depth is slim.

I am wanting to put one in a unit I have and only spot to put it on lounge wall which separates the hallway and the lounge. The wall is just normal plasterboard both sides of frame so about 150mm thick.

Minimum depth I can find on an internet search is 350mm unless there is something else or would I have to build out the lower section of the wall a bit.

If you haven't got the depth thrn consider an alternative eg electric or panel heaters or infrared in the ceilings.

or, if you just want the look but not much heat, try the ones that run on methane or propane or that additive to petrol. There are loads of them on the internet quite cheap

Don't want to be a spoil-sport but these methane type ones give some people terrible headaches. Not recommended.
