Have checked out the specials and they have oysters for $1 natural or $1.50 Kilpatrick. The other special is free soup of the day if your main meal is over $15. Need a voucher for the soup which can be downloaded from the tavern's website: http://www.benowatavern.com.au/dining.html

Thanks to all who came last night and also to RPI from making the trip down from Brisbane CBD. Now that you know the way, you are welcome to come again.

If nothing else, in our humble neck of the woods, the steaks are bigger, better and far cheaper than the big end of town.

Yes was a great night. Good food and good company. It was worth the traffic on the way down and would highly recommend it.
