hi all, what I mean by above is one where you can put in more details to check your repayments and how fast you are paying off by inputting different data for different stages in your loan.
eg. there are lot of calculators that tell you how much your repayments would be or how much time and interest you would save by putting in an extra $X per week towards your repayment. However, that assumes you are putting in the same amount every week till the loan is paid off.
Situations change, so is there one that allows more data input to suit you.
what about one that you could input like below.
eg.
similar to above:
Years 1-3 - can afford extra $x/week
But after year 3, situation changes (say you go on 1 income), so want to input-
Years 4-7 - can afford extra $y/week
Years 8-10 - say back on two incomes but not as high as before, can afford $z/week.
EDIT: actually, I have just learnt how to do it on an excel spreadsheet. Is it possible to delete this post.
