Could someone please help with this queery. If a block is developed at what point can it be sold and not atract GST on the new house. thankyou.
This is a grey area of law . . . and the main issue revolves around whether you are required to be registered for GST because you have undertaken a profit making activity.
However, to completely avoid GST on the sale you would need to keep the house for 5 years.
