Historical interest rates for NAB since 2007?

Hi,

Great website.

Does anyone know where i could get NAB's historical home loan interest rates since 2007 for their standard variable home loan (or better yet, their choice package > $250k)?

I am making a $30k claim against a non-bank lender that enticed us to leave the NAB to switch to them in 2007 with 2 separate written guarantees that we would be better off with them. As soon as we joined, they increased the rate. They are now .35% higher than NABs published.

As part of the case, I need to compare how much worse off i am with them, compared to staying with the NAB since 2007.

If not, do you know where i could get it. I tried NAB, no one there wanted to provide it, and said they could not provide it anyway, which is weird.

Welcome, have you read the PDS from the new bank lender and did you sign anything guaranteeing this statement that you would be no worse off.

It is good you point this out as any building society, instituation can up there interest rates just that the big 4 will always attract the noise

Sorry cant help you with the historical data. Did they guarantee that you would be no worse off forever? or just at the time the rate they offered compared to the NAB was better? A lot has happened in 3 years and the majors have been complaining about their cost of funds increasing, so a smaller lender would have been feeling the same pressure and potentially more depending on where their funds were coming from.
