Insurance during settlement

It has been a while since I last purchased an IP. Will be signing contracts today and I need to get insurance.

I have tried a few online quotes however the oprions don't apply

1. I own the home and live in the home
2. I own the home but tenents live in the home


I don't own the home until settlement
It will be an IP - sites have sent me to their landlord buildins ins but it is not currently tenented and had no property manager - so that has been a dead end.

This would be a common scenario for experienced investors. Can you please tell me which providers you use for such a situation. I need insurance by 5pm today

Just ring them it will be easy.

A few including allianz will provide the period between purchase and settlement for free if you sign up for 12 months from settlement onwards
