Interested in thoughts on the Penrith area

Hi all,

I have been reading the forum for some time but this is my first post. I'm planning on buying my first IP this year and would like to know the thoughts of others on the Penrith area. Specifically, I am considereing the merits of buying a property in a new area at North Penrith near the Penrith Railway Station. Landcom are doing the deveopment and it will be limited in size and very close to the Penirth CBD and railway station.

My other question involves the old ADI site which is on the Northern Road, Penrith. They are currently developing a new suburb called Jordan Springs. My concern is that the land has been zoned for a huge residential development and I am concerned with over supply.

Any feedback would be appreciated.
