Is Brissy market that bad?

Keep a close eye on it - has been a tougher year than recents, but saying that I have noticed a recent spike in enquiry too.

There is also talk that rents are about to scream upwards too and if that happens the outer burbs (well outer north, I don't know about the sth so much) should fair well!

Thanks UC. I was thinking there may be a small window of opportunity, and a great confirmation that the situation can change very quickly. I'm looking South side for a mix of investment and personal reasons. If it were purely investment I would go north. I'm hoping South will lag for a bit longer.

I noticed recently that many bigger real estate agents have down sized their offices while many smaller REs have disappeared. This is the situation in Brisbane.

Finacial crisis is not over yet. The American is printing money to devalue US dollar. It's bad for Australia.
