is your transaction OK now. ours is not settled to-date. My lawyers say we have not got any clauses put in their for delays.So can't claim any penalty unless it delays weeks...

Yeah delays happen, not a big deal unless someone wants to move in and hasn't allowed any overlap.

Mine still didn't settle bank mis quoted amount available for settlement so I had to do another transfer to lawyers trust account. Today hopefully

Expecting that settlement would happen as per contract on 23 Sept I did plan a trip to the IP for the first time for 4 Oct. There are tenants in the place already.
Can I still claim these expenses if the settlement doesn't happen before my travel?
