Kongwak Vic

Just bought a weatherboard house on 1000sqm in the main street of Kongwak Vic. It's zoned residential / commercial so could use front for possible tea room and live at rear.
Was $150k
It's next door to the Kongwak market and the old butter factory. It's
14km from Inverloch, 18km from Wonthaggi and 14km from Korumburra.
Hoping the overflow of Inverloch yuppies start looking at this area in the future.
Any Somersofters have property in this neck of the woods?

Hi there,

I've just bought into Inverloch. The market has cooled a bit, post desal. Lots of property on the market and as such buyers have a bit of control. I managed to buy a 4 bedroom home for 350K, 850m to the beach, 700m to the main street, That price was exactly what the last owner bought it for in 2009. Was pretty happy with that - oh, and I got it furnished! :D

I think the place will pick up again. Cafes all around Inverloch are going nuts all the time. Lots of development there. Wonthaggi and Inverloch should see most growth, but I think long term Kongwak should benefit.
