Landscaping the backyard, what $2650 can do - Pics

Looks fantastic! So how much area did that cover approximately? I'm looking at doing something similar, since the grass at my place is looking a little dead....

Great work everyone.
Funny Sue I was just talking about that stuff the other day. I was thinking of putting it down he side of the pol.
What do you call it. I've tried google but just keep getting timber flooring. Where do you get it?

thanks.

I don't know what it's called but I got it from Freedom.

I was in Bunnings the other day and saw the same stuff.....
They are called "Decking Tiles"... if you google it you will find quite a few manufacturers doing the stuff..... Sue, how much did you get it for?

Well its finally completed. all the work was carried out by ourselves.

paid $1600 for paves
$300 for sand and dirt
$400 for plants and pots
$200 for hiring compactor and saw
$100 on rocks
$50 on wood

Only have before photos after we had ripped out some of the garden already, some terrible hedges were there and took up too much precious space.

So thats it, a little bit of work every few afternoons over about 3 weeks.
saved a fortune in labour costs and hopefully will add some value to the place ;)

let me know if you have any other suggestions.

Can I ask where you got the cheap rocks from ????

Mmh - timber straight on the ground, I'd be paranoid about attracting termites, especially with it so close to the house. Any thoughts on that?
