Lenders that allow immediate revals after settlement / cosmetic reno

To all MB's out there, would you be kind enough to name the lenders that allow this (in today's environment). I'm not talking about extensive renos just the basics eg paint, bathroom, kitchen etc.

Hi Highlygeared,

In my recent experience all the big 4 and second tier lenders are open to this. I'd suggest using your own qualified valuers after the reno to make sure you get the val you're expecting and then present it to the bank.

thanks....but in my experience, they tend to only come to the party if youve done some major, structural renos. Maybe its just the people Im dealing with.

I am with Medine never had a real problem. (NAB maybe the exception)

Get your Broker to let you now the valuer who the Bank will use and talk to them prior to doing the work. Tell him what you intend to do and how much you intend to spend and ask their opinion.

More often than not depending on the area the same valuer will come back after the reno and do the updated valuation again.
