Mike and I will be there

We are busy slimming down in preparation for our Christmas in UK trip.

Mike's first house was an 1890s mid terrace off Unthank Road in Norwich. It got sold literally while we were (leaving) driving to the airport.

Now, it is smack bang in the middle of the Golden Triangle.

Thirty years later, through boom times, recessions and Global Financial Crises, that tiny house which he bought for 7,000 pounds is now worth squillions.

We shall go and have a drink at the miniscule Rose Valley Pub on the corner and cry into our Real Ale.

'If Only' has such a plaintive echo. There was no need to sell it then, but conventional wisdom said if you weren't going to live in it then you sold it.

We need cheering up just at the thought of it

Just a note: the venue is children friendly, and has an indoor playground (as do almost all the venues we go to every month).
