That makes sense, callander, and that's what my common sense would have told me was the case. I now believe that Consumer Affairs have made an error in the referenced "Ending a Tenancy" fact sheet, and have written to them suggesting they correct it.So if the tenant has done nothing wrong you cannot make them vacate the property prior to any lease expiry.
