G'day Rixter,
You are right, the property is an older home. We were looking at what we could financially manage and we desided that it fitted our criteria. We have a nice brick IP in a sydney suburb and basically have desided to try an older, cheaper property and see how things go. Im not going to build a portfolio of them but interested to see how it does perform over the coming yrs. Hope that things settle now that the tenant moved in yesterday so will see how things go. Certainly plan to add more of the "newer, lower maintenance type" places to our portfolio over the yrs but was just at a stage where we wanted to add another property and this fitted the needs so will see how things pan out for us.
