actually did try to ask if the sellers would take a private offer.

before I could even complete the sentence, the agent cut me off at "would the sellers con....", with a straight "no".

thought he misheard me and he said no again. So I guess the owners are very confident on the market.

Would have asked, "since you're so confident, why are you pricing it so low on the ads?"
