Old window locks - do you recognize them?

I've attached photos of old window locks on our double hung aluminium windows which we would like to replace. Apparently it is very difficult to find replacement locks for these windows.

Do you know what the window lock in my photos is called? The lock works by pulling the latch away from the edge of the wall, sliding the window up or down, then releasing the latch into one of the narrow slots in the window frame. These thin rectangular slots seem to be exactly(?) 1cm long and a few mm wide - see the third photo.

The closest mechanism that I've seen are window 'tilt' latches, for example:

Our windows are not 'tilt' windows, but I wonder if one of these might do the trick?

Are there any stores in NSW which sell suitable locks, or can anyone think of a creative way to keep these windows open?

You may be better off finding someone who specialises in refurbishing old windows, as it will be nigh impossible to find off the shelf replacement locks/window hardware

I've come across these in the past!!

Down here those windows and locks associated with them are referred to as 'Sash Window Locks' there are a few different types but if you get a locksmith out they may be able to assit you with replacement locks - they are REALLY hard to find for a regular trade.

I've been hunting around for replacements to some old window locks in our unit, and stumbled onto this old post asking the exact same question. I was wondering whether the OP had any success in finding replacement locks, and if so, whether they'd mind sharing where they can be found?
Appreciate any help - cheers!

My brother-in-law has same window lock as you have. He's been wanting to replace it because it's been rusted already but he hasn't found that kind of lock to replace them with. I wish someone could point the exact design for it.
