Parse error

Dear very clever SIM

I am getting a small but not critical error on the top of my WWW screen saying things like and similar to:

Parse error: parse error, unexpected '=' in /usr/local/psa/home/vhosts/somersoft.com/httpdocs/forums/nicks.php on line 1

Also sometimes it is followed by the following thing (sort of)
Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /usr/local/psa/home/vhosts/somersoft.com/httpdocs/forums/nicks.php:1) in /usr/local/psa/home/vhosts/somersoft.com/httpdocs/forums/admin/functions.php on line 1667


Have I done something wrong? Is something set up wrong?

This is NOT an urgent query - just a curious one for me.

All fixed - aalbot choked halfway through an upload of the list of users currently in the chatroom - which caused the error. Was never anything to worry about.

I just set aalbot straight and he fixed it himself.

You've always got to be worried about bots.

Though it isn't as much of a problem when you don't smoke any more.

As I consider sending my 9yo to spelling lessons so she has an easier ride (?) than me to find a golden goose.
But communications has lots more in it than spelling. And life a lot more REAL riches.
