Roxby Downs is a mining town in SA with a population of 4000 and maqny workers coming and going according to work availability. There is up to 70 years potential output from the mine. I visited Myall Grove caravan park where they have a number of villas used for accomodation for a minimum of 3 months or more. Details as follows:
Prices between $10000 and $40000
Site rental (site rent, rates, water etc) paid by villa owner/investor: $70 - $100 pw
Rental income: $150 - $200 pw
Property Management: 10% (not compulsory)
Some of these were built as early as 1997 and a few of them also come furnished. The site manager, Vicki Knowles (08) 8671 1991, said vacancy could be 3 to 4 weeks per year.
