After complaining to my broker he got back to me after speaking to regional manager at Anz. Anz claim they should have a response for me tomorrow. (Thursday)

Yep it's pretty obvious I've been shunted to back of the que to make way for loans close to settlement.

Haha the credit team tends to treat pre-approvals last as you said. Just be patient.

Well it's after 5pm and no phone call at all today. Patience wearing very thin ..

I always suggest clients get Veda Alert sothat you have an idea of when the lender actually looks at the file .

not always reliable, but tends to keep brokers and lenders a little more honest

Thanks Rolf....I like to think I have the patience of a saint, my broker sure does with my endless requests of 'What's happening?'.....hopefully close to an outcome though.

A good cashout policy is so so important for an investor which is why I'm not a fan of lenders like ING and BW.
