quality of depreciation schedules

reading about depreciation and different companies that prepare them, would it be fair to say that the more you spend on a schedule, the more you will likely be able to claim via the schedule. In other words you get what you pay for........I recently had a schedule prepared electronically for $275.oo no visit)but was not really aware of all the other options. (let the buyer beware , yet again!)
 
There was a company years ago who used to boast: "We'll get you more depreciation than anyone else.'
I think someone told them this might not be such a clever thing to promise.
It's not so much the amount of the claim, but more the accuracy that is important.
I still see the odd Depreciation Schedule that has kitchen cupboards listed as an Asset. Or a clothesline. Or TV antenna. Sure, calling these things Assets will result in more depreciation, but it means the Schedule is wrong.
