Recently married with separate I.P's

I'm recently married and was wondering where we stood regarding using each other's I.P's to refinance.

My wife has one I.P in her name. Is this kept separate in law or can I use the property for refinance purposes now that we are married? I'm the only income earner at the moment.

Doesn't really matter that you are married. Nothing changes in the loans or tax departments.

She can increase her loan and onlend to you and vice versa. If she doesn't qualify on her own you could guarantee her loan increase or maybe even be a co-borrower.

Yep, even in a defecto relationship it's usually ok to have both applicants on the application if needed - despite only one being on title.

Cheers
