Refind price different than listing

Hi all,
I am using refindhouseprices dot com as my price research tool. However, sometimes the price reduction shown on the refind listing profile does not appear on the orignial RE or Domain listing

Case in point:
http://www.refindhouseprices.com/viewad/8998578/2/1474 North Road

Says a 50K reduction and final price is 370K.

whereas the orignial listing still says 420K
http://www.domain.com.au/Property/For-Sale/Townhouse/VIC/Clayton/?adid=2009832561

I have seen similar issues with many other listings. On what basis Refind sources its information?

It can go the other way as well.
Im seeing a few were refindhouseprices have not been updated for months
and still listing higher prices.

Something not right with the website as its just showing 2days advertised for all
the properties I have searched for, the only reason I use the site is to trackback and
see how long a property has been on the market which I found was about right in the past.

The discrepancy is the that the original Domain listing still says 420K. Not sure why refind says that 50K reduction happened. How does it know that it ever happened?

This one may give you more balance,just sign up and all the data you want..and watch the agents face when they tell you a sideline porkies
when you state the facts, unless you are buying several per month,then you may need to pay but from experience keep it all very simple..

I've found www.onthehouse.com.au the most reliable when looking for deals in NSW, however, it doesn't show much information about WA...

I use OTH too, not bad for free but I have found not all sales get picked up.
