Reno - Survey advice needed

Reno - Surveyor advice needed

I live on a small inner city block and am about to embark on a structural reno. The plan is to raise it and extended a few meters towards the boundary line to accommodate a garage of some sorts while also building in under.

The surveyor has sent me a list of two survey types.

below is whats is included in each one.

Option 1:
- Spot levels throughout the site. Including changes of grade.
- Location of all existing structures, including highest point on the roof and the main gutter height and floor levels.
- Encroachments on or by the subject lot.
-Location of all fences, pathways, paved areas and retaining walls
- Location of significant vegetation
- Visible services located
- Underground services plotted from dial before you dig.
- contours at 0.5m intervals
- Levels and AHD by connection to an existing permanent mark
- Boundaries and easements plotted from existing survey plans.

option 2:Natural ground level contour

- Searches from local authority records to establish natural ground level.
- site inspects and analysis of data to enable provision of contours representing 'natural ground level" for calculation of building heights.
- supply onsite bench mark to assist builder during construction.

Option 3: Location of subject house:

-Survey to measure position of building
- Encroachments on or by the subject lot
boundaries and easements plotted from existing survey plans

Initially the surveyor thought option 1 might be a lot more than I require.
Can anyone provide any feedback one what I will require for a DA?
