I don't really recommend options though. But every diversified investor should own some metal.

Apart from the obvious BHP, WPL and ZFX what do you reckon looks good for Monday? I may look at some of the speckies which got an awful mauling, MPO and WMT included. And MCR is a quality producer which was treated badly.

By no means a recommendation, but I'm into TMR at these levels. Taken a hammering over the last couple weeks, despite ramping up profitable copper production and exploration in Chile, and next year brining on line gold production in Armenia. Both gold and copper prices still looking good next few years imo.

Wow what a recovery!!! Although still volatile the all ords has bounced off the 4 year underlying trend which proves how valid the trend lines can be in determing the direction of the market. Things look to improve from here on in but of course thats no guarantee.
