5.20pm: Phil Anderson - Sorting Out the Market Cycles

Phil will outline the history of the 18 year real estate cycle, and why this is so critical to understand for those trading stock and commodity markets.

Phil Anderson is Managing Director of Economic Indicator Services (EIS), an economic forecasting service operating out of London and Melbourne. EIS is a leading authority in the area of business, real estate and commodity cycles. Subscribers to the service are educated to the movements of these cycles in the economy, none more important than the real estate cycle. Phil’s book, The secret Life of Real Estate was published in the UK in 2008.

6.00 pm: Meeting Break

6.15pm: Phil Anderson: Out Look for 2009 & into 2010

During this talk Phil will discuss of how past real estate cycles ended and then moved into the new cycle,
what to look out for as the cycle moves, related in particular to the stock market
a brief look at how this fits with the next upside for the 5th Kondratieff commodity price wave.
Finally, if time permits, and allowing for questions, Phil will cover a few of the longer term market timing and counting techniques he has learnt from the writings of W.D. Gann, and how to fit this to the real estate cycle - something quite unique within Phil’s study and research of markets.
