Strata title to increase profit?

Hi all, I'm after a little advice on a property we will be selling shortly.

I basically want help on deciding whether I should get a strata title or not.

The property is on a massive double sized block. Most houses in the street are also on massive double blocks and have a second house or units situated comfortably in the backyard.

Would it be wise and potentially increase the selling price by getting a strata title for the property?

As long as you can create a vacant strata lot for a relatively small percentage cost of the new land value. A trip to council should help you find this out. Chat with local agents to determine final vals to compare.
 
Often it will be worth while BUT worthwhile in the sense of selling them separately, i.e. sell the front house and sell the rear block(s).

It can take awhile to organise surveys, council and titles but do the sums and see how the come out
