Looking like more downsides than upsides at the moment lol 
I have no idea what we're doing next year. We'll probably just pay the house off and sit tight. We're self-employed but on a contract so *might* be able to get a loan, and the relationship at home is ... interesting at the moment. We could really use a place in the city.
Outside of the CBD, where the heck do you get cheapish places?
Maybe we should pitch for a moderately inner city house with a granny flat and use the granny flat for our own accommodation and rent out the main house?
