Tax Deductibility of a TAFE Course

My partner & I own an investment property in joint names. She has just enrolled in a TAFE Course studying Property Management. At present she is not working in the industry but intends to do post June 30 2003.

I was just wondering whether it is possible to claim the cost of the course for this current financial year in her personal tax return.

Any help on this would be great

Because your partner is an owner of IP's already, then yes, I think there is an excellent case for claiming the course.
