Karen & I have found that most vendor financiers tend to keep away from acerage. The reason behing this reluctance is that, if for some reason the vendor financier gets the property back, it can be a lot harder to sell an acerage property than a "standard" residential property.
There are always exceptions of course. Vendor financiers usually advertise using small classified ads in local papers (quite often the free papers). Maybe you could a positive response from a vendor financier in your area, by putting something like"
"Rent To Own Wanted" in the real estate classifieds of your local paper, Good luck.
