Vendor's agent won't do price match

you either buy at 410 or walk away I guess............. or if you can find out who the vendor is, try and go direct (Your interaction with the selling agent is done)

That can sometimes work, but if its a corporation or major developer they usually cant be bothered which is why have employed an agent

Newbie mistake
Taking a price reduction refusal or offer acceptance personally

If they don't accept, then they have a reason for it logical or not, and you just have to accept it

Agent and vendor are holding a bluff hand and you laid your cards down too early.

Wether playing with chips or colthing removal.....you're now a little lighter.

Yep, there is no price match guarantee with property. Just means the buyer of next door was a better negotiator than you are.

due diligence is the phrase most commonly used,
by all normal processes everybody knew what the other block sold for before offers were made and accepted
lawyers say, don't ask a question you didn't know the answer to,
Nothing changed except the amount of information, known by the prospective purchaser
the deal is the same

Sometimes also a builder is willing to let one go for cheaper to reduce his debts right away which will also reduce his stress and can wait for a more reasonable offers on the others.
