Anoyone who did electronics in the 1980s, especially simple kits, FM bugs and security, would have heard of Colin Mitchell. He was a gifted teacher / author who cut costs to sell books for just $3 ea. His books weren't all circuits - you'd turn the page and find an essay on how to get rich or not get ripped off!
