How will this effect Wantirna South and surrounding suburbs?

Seems to be a number of larger style apartment complexes already going up in the area..

Let's hope they also eventually approve an extension of the tram line down burwood highway..

The current Knox Westfield does feel tired inside, so an update will be good. More importantly though more shops means more jobs. More jobs means more money in the local area. More money for locals can lead to property prices going up.

You're right with regards to new developments though. The big Stud Road development and nearby OTP apartment complexes may over supply the market which could counteract price growth somewhat.

Definitely worth keeping an eye on the stats though. Still a good, family friendly suburb to buy a house (PPOR) in, for that outer Eastern area.
